WE INTEND TO CAUSE HAVOC.
Jagari, the front man of the Zambian band Witch from the 70s, gets a second chance to live his dream of becoming a professional musician. With a newly formed band he brings his music to Europe and finally celebrates the success he deserves.
We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.
Biography
Gio Arlotta was born in Italy in 1984. As a music blogger he filmed the performances of rock bands with a VHS camera. On a trip to Africa in 2014 he met the former frontman Jagari Chanda and began to document his life. Today he is manager of the newly formed band Witch.
Tim was born in Germany. He is Co-founder and owner of the production company Pantheon Pictures, he works as a producer and dop. His latest music feature documentary was selected at numerious festivals including Warsaw IFF, Rotterdam IFFR and Capetown IFF.
